I loved reading about the casting process and how the Duffer brothers changed original planning of characters to fit around the actors who they had fallen for during the audition process! The original idea for Stranger Things was much darker. I would have loved to see the show darker but I’m also very happy that they lightened it up a bit to better fit a wider audience.
