This puzzle is perfect for novices or children and the sequential discovery of movements is very pleasant. The object of the puzzle is to gently twist and turn the keys in a series of moves that will make the keys separate.

However, given the sheer size of Hogwarts Castle and its many hidden secrets, finding the key and figuring out which lock it fits can be tricky. There are few places to go wrong and need a backtrack (there is a dead end at the beginning) but if you don't line things up perfectly then it will appear as if you have taken a wrong step (I did get lost once during the reassembly). However, players will be able to enter during Niamh Fitzgerald’s Trial during the main story, and the office remains accessible afterward. Because this puzzle is made of plastic, we DO NOT recommend handing it to someone to see if they can figure it out.As with all the Hanayama puzzles it comes beautifully packaged and no solution is provided (If you need one you can get it here).
